Terms of Service

Welcome to Evarenity! These Terms are the rules for using the site. We’ve tried to keep them friendly and plain, but they are a real agreement between you and Evarenity (“we”, “us”, “staff”). By creating an account or using Evarenity, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. Joining Evarenity

• Age. You must be at least 13 years old to make an account. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to join and to make any purchase, and they agree to these Terms for you.
• Approval. New accounts are reviewed by staff. We may approve or decline any join request, and we don’t have to give a reason.
• One account per person. Each person may have one account. Extra accounts (“alts”) may be closed, along with anything moved to or from them. Family members who share a computer or internet connection are welcome. Just let staff know through the Help desk so it isn’t mistaken for an alt.
• Accounts are personal. You can’t sell, trade, give away or share your account, or use someone else’s.

2. Your account & password

• Keep your password private and use one you don’t use anywhere else. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
• Staff will never ask for your password. Not in messages, the forums, a Help ticket or email. Anyone who asks is not staff, so please report them.
• If you think someone else got into your account, open a Help ticket right away.
• Use a real email address you can check. It’s how we’ll reach you about your account.

3. Community rules

Evarenity is a cozy place for players of many ages. Everywhere on the site, including forums, messages, profiles, pet and shop names, trade notes and Help tickets:

• Be kind. No bullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, or picking on anyone for who they are.
• Keep it family-friendly. No sexual content, graphic violence or gore, or anything promoting drugs, self-harm or illegal activity. Getting around the word filter with creative spelling still counts.
• Respect privacy. Don’t share personal information, yours or anyone else’s: real names, addresses, phone numbers, school names, photos, or social media to move a chat off-site.
• No spam or advertising. No chain messages, flooding, or ads for other sites, servers or products.
• No impersonation. Don’t pretend to be staff or another player.
• No harmful links or files. Nothing that leads to viruses, phishing, “free Stars” tricks or other scams.
• Feeling unsafe? If anything on or off the site makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, tell staff through the Help desk. If you’re in danger, contact a trusted adult or your local emergency services first.

4. Fair play

• No bots, scripts, macros, auto-clickers or browser tools that play for you or give you an unfair edge.
• No using extra accounts to gain items, currency, prizes or votes.
• Glitches: If you find a bug, report it through the Help desk under Bugs / Issues and don’t use it. Anything gained from a bug may be removed. Using a bug on purpose, or teaching others to, can lead to a ban. Reporting one may earn you a thank-you reward!
• Don’t try to break into, overload, or mess with the site, its servers, or other players’ accounts.

5. Trading, shops & adoptions

• Trades, player shop sales and Adoption House adoptions are final once both sides accept. Check what you’re getting before you click.
• No scamming. Tricking someone, breaking a deal you agreed to, or misleading people about an item or pet’s value can lead to item removal and a ban. Report scams with the Help desk.
• Staff aren’t responsible for trades you regret. We step in for scams and rule-breaking, not for bad deals.
• No real-world trading. Evarenity accounts, pets, items, Diamonds, Stars and other currencies may not be bought, sold or traded for real money, gift cards, or anything on another site or game. The only way to get Stars or Premium with real money is through Evarenity itself.
• Player shop prices are up to the seller, but price manipulation schemes run with other players or alts aren’t allowed.

6. Stars, Premium & purchases

• Virtual items have no cash value. Diamonds, Stars, Stardust, Event Tokens, pets and items are a license to use them inside Evarenity. They aren’t real money or property, can’t be cashed out, and aren’t yours outside the game.
• Payments. Purchases are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are shown before you pay, in US dollars.
• All sales are final. Stars and other purchases are delivered right away and are non-refundable, except where the law says otherwise. If something you paid for didn’t arrive, open a Help ticket and we’ll make it right.
• Premium is a monthly subscription. It renews automatically each month at the price shown until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep Premium until the end of the month you’ve paid for. We don’t give partial refunds for unused time.
• Chargebacks. Disputing a charge with your bank instead of contacting us will suspend the account while it’s sorted out. Fraudulent chargebacks lead to a ban and removal of what was bought.
• Using someone else’s card or account without permission is not allowed and will be reported.
• We may change prices or what a purchase includes, but never for something you’ve already paid for.

7. Your creations

Players can make custom pets with Potions of Creation, design clothing and items with Design Tickets, write forum posts, and more.

• It must be your own work. Only submit art you made yourself. No traced, copied or stolen art, and no characters, logos or designs from other games, shows or brands. Custom pets must be drawn on official Evarenity bases.
• You keep ownership of your original art. By submitting it, you give Evarenity a permanent, worldwide, free permission to host, display, resize, and include it in the game, and to hand out copies to players. This also covers using it in site news and announcements, and continuing to use it after you leave. This lets approved designs stay in other players’ inventories even if you close your account.
• Credit. Approved designs show who made them. You can’t sell or trade your Evarenity designs for real money (see section 5).
• Staff review. All designs are reviewed before they go live. Staff may ask for changes, or decline or remove a design, including one that breaks these Terms or turns out to be copied. If a design is declined, the Design Ticket or potion you used is returned so you can try again. It may not be returned if the design was copied or broke these Terms on purpose.
• Staff may edit, hide or remove anything you post on the site.

8. Our art & content

• Everything made by Evarenity, including pets, bases, colorations, items, backgrounds, logos, writing and code, belongs to Evarenity or the artists who licensed it to us.
• You may share screenshots of your pets and avatar, and link to the site.
• The base files we give out for custom pets are only for making Evarenity custom pets. Don’t redistribute them, sell them, or use them anywhere else.
• Don’t copy, scrape, or reuse our art or content anywhere else without written permission.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Evarenity uses your work without permission, email Evarenity@gmail.com with:

• your name and how to contact you
• the work you own, and a link to where it appears on the site
• a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized
• a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the work or are allowed to act for its owner

We’ll review it promptly and remove infringing material. Players who repeatedly submit others’ work will lose their account.

10. Moderation & appeals

• Depending on what happened, staff may give a warning, remove content, items or currency, limit features like the forums or trading, suspend an account, or ban it.
• Serious problems, such as threats, scams, real-money trading, fraud or hacking, may lead straight to a ban.
• Banned accounts lose access to everything on them, including purchased Stars and Premium time.
• Think a decision was a mistake? Open a Help ticket, or email Evarenity@gmail.com if you can’t log in. Be calm and honest. Staff will review it, and that decision is final.
• Please don’t make a new account to get around a ban. It will be closed as well.

11. Privacy

• We collect only what the site needs to run: your email, a securely scrambled (hashed) version of your password, the things you do and post in the game, and basic technical information like your IP address for security.
• We use a cookie to keep you logged in. Evarenity has no third-party ads and we never sell your information.
• Payments are handled by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
• Staff can see in-game activity, like trades, messages and posts, when it’s needed to keep players safe or to look into a report.
• You or your parent or guardian can ask to see or delete your account’s data at any time. Just email Evarenity@gmail.com.

12. The game will change

• Evarenity is always growing. We may add, change, rebalance or retire features, items, pets, shops, drop rates and prices, and we aren’t obligated to give anything back when we do.
• We try to keep the site running smoothly, but it may sometimes be down for updates or fixes. If a bug or outage costs you something, open a Help ticket and we’ll do what we reasonably can.
• If Evarenity ever closes for good, we’ll post notice on the site at least 30 days ahead when we can.

13. Closing your account

• You can ask us to close your account at any time through the Help desk or by email. Remember to cancel Premium first.
• Closed accounts can’t be restored, and their pets, items and currencies can’t be moved or refunded.
• We may close accounts that break these Terms, and accounts that were never used.

14. Disclaimers & legal stuff

• Evarenity is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly secure.
• As far as the law allows, Evarenity isn’t responsible for indirect or accidental losses from using the site. That includes lost virtual items, other players’ behavior, and anything on off-site links. Our total responsibility to you is no more than what you paid us in the 6 months before the problem.
• Players are responsible for what they post. Their opinions aren’t ours.
• You agree not to hold us responsible for claims caused by your breaking these Terms or the law.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. If part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not acting on a rule right away doesn’t mean we’ve given it up.
• These Terms, plus any rules posted on the site, are the full agreement between you and us.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the game grows. When we make an important change, we’ll post it in the site news and update the date at the top. If you keep using Evarenity after a change, that means you accept the new Terms.
